Support San Felipe Dog Rescue's Summer Challenge
Tax deductible
San Felipe Dog Rescue was established in San Felipe in 2019 by Carol Dougherty and Wendy Sanguinetti in response to the excessive number of abandoned dogs on the streets of San Felipe. Currently, SFDR receives an average of 28 dogs each month and successfully places an average of 30 dogs per month for adoption or with rescue partners. On any given day, SFDR’s daily population is 80-100 dogs. While at the Rescue, dogs receive an array of services that include: housing, food, veterinary care, behavioral services, recreation, transportation, foster and adoption services.
Feeding 80-100 dogs daily is a challenge! Dog food costs have been on the rise and there are challenges to transporting food from our donors across the border. With summer heat we see a decline in food donations and rely on donated funds to buy food locally to ensure our dogs are fed every day.
SFDR is a 501©(3) and a registered Civil Association in Mexico and operates on donated funds only. Please consider donating so that we can get through this summer successfully!
