Support Sandra's Recovery Journey

Allow me to introduce my mother, Sandra.
She is easily the greatest person I know, and while I may be slightly biased because she is my mother, her fellow friends and family would all agree and say the same. She is the light of my life and best friend. We have been through it all together. From dance lessons, to graduations, to her being the officiant for my wedding in 2022 and everywhere in between. She is kind hearted, caring, courageous and the first one to offer her love and support. She dedicated the last 15 years to supporting and caring for her mother, who we unfortunately lost in February of 2023. She truly gives everything she can to help others and has the biggest and sweetest heart. Small but mighty best describes our family and she is the heart of it all.
On July 6th, she suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which was followed by secondary brain bleed seven days after she was placed in the Neuro ICU. A subarachnoid hemorrhage is a life threatening type of stroke that is caused by bleeding into the space surrounding the brain. She also has suffered from vasospasm, which constricts the blood vessels in her brain as well. She had an emergency craniectomy, which helps to alleviate pressure on the brain and her aneurysm was able to be secured at the time of the procedure. She has thankfully been stable since. The length of her ICU stay is dependent on how well she recovers and while she has made great strides over the past two weeks, it’s unclear just what her road to recovery looks like.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to her medical bills, which will be substantial. Her partner, David, myself and our entire family appreciate your attention to this and should you choose to donate, we will be forever grateful.
