An Appeal to support Sanjana's ongoing recovery

My beloved Sangha family, dearest friends everywhere,

My fullhearted thank you, to all of you, for each and every form of love you have showered me with over these recent times..and always!

My heart knows no words to express this gratitude for each one of you and for everything life has graced me with and for That great love that is woven within everything I experience under the grace of my beloved Master Moojibaba. Who could imagine, that in the midst of everything that happens, seemingly good or bad, beautiful or difficult, lies this great unchanging peace, joy and gratitude of Being - that is God’s greatest secret and blessing.

Thank you beloved Guruji for revealing this inside my heart.

Thank you beloved family for walking with me and being part of this miraculous unfolding, for embracing me so fully in your heart, light, love and prayers as well as supporting me financially in this time of need.

I’m very happy to share, with those with whom we didn’t yet have the chance to meet, that by God’s miraculous grace, my health is continuously improving and my body is getting stronger and better every day. Although my feet are still partially paralysed, the nerves and muscles are slowly recovering and responding well to the treatment and physiotherapy, which means that God willing, there is hope for complete recovery in time.

To my great joy, by now I’m able to walk short distances for example, as well as use a push-walker along with my wheelchair throughout the day. The condition in my hands has also greatly improved, enabling me to participate more in daily activities and take care of some of my needs. My cancer tumours are also slowly but steadily diminishing in size and some have even calcified (become inactive).

This is a great blessing and the only way I can see and take it, is that this is God’s grace, allowing me to fulfill my opportunity here with Guruji, to become awake to my true self, my eternal nature, in this lifetime. To fulfill this opportunity has been a huge driving force in my recovery, not only becoming physically well.

Today I also come to you, humbly asking for your financial support once again.

Having had to use the services of a care agency over these last 6 months, my ongoing rehabilitation and medication, as well as the living expenses for me and my carer, exhausted the funds I collected in my previous campaigns fairly quickly.

It is clear that still some time will be needed for my recovery and having no other means to sustain myself financially, I’d welcome with an open heart and so greatly appreciate any and every help you could offer to support me at this time.

I can’t express in words how much it means for me to receive your ongoing love and support in this and in every way and I so deeply value each and every contribution offered. I want you all to know that great consideration and care continuously goes into evaluating my care system and treatment plan, and to ensure that your funds given, will support me in the best possible way.

Below is the break down of the monthly expenses in detail:

The goal of this fundraiser would be to raise the funds to support my ongoing recovery over the next 9 months and it is based on the estimation of my current expenses, which round up to €3,000 per month and consist of:

- living in care assistance (my recent improvement allowed me to make a private arrangement with 2 of my sangha sisters, that will take turns staying with me and helping to take care of me and my living space)

- rent and bills for the small 1-bedroom apartment I live in with my carer

- car rent & fuel (I’m currently living in a small village, which is 15-20 min drive away from my spiritual home Monte Sahaja, my friends and community, as well as from the nearest town, where we can make our basic shopping and continue my physiotherapy)

- ongoing physiotherapy and acupuncture treatments

- medication and necessary supplements

- medical trips to Lisbon for the cancer related check-ups, exams and treatment, as well as the follow ups of my neurological condition (I’m graced with a wonderful medical team working together in one public hospital until, solely dedicated to cancer patients)

- healthy food in accordance with my current dietary restrictions
