Support Saqallah Family's Urgent Evacuation

Support evacuation of the SAQALLAH family from Gaza

My name is Motaz Saqallah, and I urgently appeal to your generosity on behalf of my brothers families. Please see below story.

My name is Mohsin Muneer Sakallah, I’m from Gaza strip, staying in Gaza city in a neighborhood called Tal Al hawa along with my family, my brother (Abdullah) and his family, my elder brother’s wife and daughters and my mother. We lost our elder brother Muhammed in 2022.

It all started after October 7,2023, like other Gazan families, we have been displaced from our homes in Gaza city according to Israel defense army instructions and non-stop air strikes on Gaza city. Despite of our hesitation to leave our houses, eventually we had no choice but to abide by the instructions and leave to the south areas of Gaza strip, especially after the catastrophic situations we have suffered in Gaza city, the city was under full siege, all food and water supplies were cut off, airstrikes and bombing were 24 /7. We couldn’t even provide the milk nor water for our children.

Currently, we all reside in tents in Rafah and Deir Al Balah, which were provided by some charity organizations, they also provide us some food and water like other Gazans whom displaced from their homes and rely on these aids only in order to survive. But as every one knows, there is no safe place in Gaza strip, the bombing is often randomly and everywhere. We have been taken back to the dark ages, people just stay in tents and waiting for some aids just for surviving, doing nothing after destroying all aspects of life in Gaza strip and losing our jobs.

We came to know that our homes in Gaza city were totally either burnt or destroyed, and going back there is out of reach, like other Gazans families, we have no options but to leave Gaza strip, that is why we signed up on GO FUND ME seeking your kind hearts donate with whatever amount that can help us depart safely to Egypt. The trouble with leaving Gaza strip is the border with Egypt in the only crossing to any country in the world, unfortunately the government of Egypt doesn’t allow the people to depart from Gaza to Egypt for their internal considerations, unless they collect around 5,000 USD against each passport for adults and 2,500 USD for each child under 18. These amounts are entitled to be increased for urgent departure.

Our humble request that to help us leave from here after the devastated life we experienced during since October 7th, our hopes are to have a better future for our children in another place in the world, and to have the minimum treatment and care for my mother outside Gaza.
