Support Sara Campbell's Spinal Surgery Recovery

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Sara Campbell, known in the wrestling world as Sheeva. Sara has dedicated years to entertaining fans, pushing herself to the limit in the ring. Now, she is facing the fight of her life—one that wrestling could never prepare her for.

Sara was recently diagnosed with a rare congenital spine condition where her vertebrae never fully developed or connected as they should. This has led to severe scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, joint degeneration, multiple herniated discs, spondylitis, and spondylolisthesis. On top of that, doctors also discovered a tumor along her spine.

On February 26th, Sara underwent the first of multiple major surgeries—a grueling 7 hour 360-degree spinal reconstruction. Surgeons removed the tumor, inserted plastic spacers in place of damaged discs, began fusing her lumbar spine, and installed a stabilization cage to realign her vertebrae. They also took bone and bone marrow from her spine and used cadaver bone to replace it. While they believe they achieved clean margins on the tumor, she may still need chemotherapy and radiation. Once she recovers, she will face another similar surgery for her neck.
