Support Sara Souder's Battle with Cancer

Starting at the end of July things for our family got very real, very quickly with some of the worst news a family could get. Sara Alyce Souder, our mama, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasized on her liver, kidney and spleen. She just received her port and began chemo on 8/14.

This is all so new and scary, our hearts are in pieces, and we are absolutely devastated, but that doesn’t negate the fact that now she cannot work to support herself anymore and needs our help.

A lot of you know her as Ms. Sara from the Boys & Girls Club who helped you with homework after school, helped you with daily challenges, and loved on you when you needed it most. Others of you know her as Kennedy’s mom from the ORAD dance studio, or Andrya and Maxwells mom from choir, Luke’s mom from gaming groups and art shows, Jetts mom from his skating days and Michael’s mom from his sports days when he was always breaking bones. You may know her from our open-door policy house where any and everyone was invited, whether it was just for a meal or a place to crash or just to hang out for a few hours. She has made such an impact on many lives in past years and helped mold so many into the people they are today.

For those of you that do not know this magnificent woman, she is our mother. She is Mimi to her many grandbabies. She is inspiring, warm-hearted and one of the most loving women. Her passions are feeding her family, baking amazing desserts and birthday cakes, going to the beach, all things music, and loving anyone as if she has known them for years.
