Support Sarah and Shaymaa in Gaza

Hello everyone, we need your urgent support to help Sarah and her family from Gaza in search of protection from the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people committed by the Israeli Occupation. Sarah is the niece of my friend Shaymaa Shawki Hamdan Alnajjar, who I've met in Gaza a couple of years ago.

Sarah just turned 6 this week and is the true light of her family's life. Since having been forcibly displaced from their home by the Israeli Occupation, Sarah and her family have been living in a tent. The family would like to leave Gaza. There are no words, no need to explain the reasons for the their decision to leave, as we all have been bearing witness to the unfathomable crimes committed against the Palestinian population by Israel. Please share widely and support Sarah and her family, who - like all Palestinians and all people everywhere - deserve a life in safety and dignity.

One person Sarah is inseparable from is Shaymaa, her aunt:

"This is Shaymaa from Gaza,I’ve a bachelors degree in English language and literature, I was about to apply for a master’s study, But the war came and destroyed everything even my little dreams. we’re under attack for about 11 months, we were displaced many times and now live in a small tent, this war stolen much more than walls and doors, it’s stolen our dreams, it left us with a pathetic feeling of loss and despair, life here is unbearable hell, I am here because I need your support to help me and my family survive. Together, let’s transform the scares of war into a story of resilience, unity and the unwavering spirit of humanity. let’s save us from this killing war and follow our dreams."

As it is hardly impossible to leave Gaza, we collect the money to support Sarah and Shaymaa.

Specifically we need 1200 $ for them to buy a new tent, because their current one has being damaged by recent rains and is unfit for the upcoming winter.

All other money will be spent on food and other basic needs, that have become extraordinary expensive.

My name is Amira, I am from Berlin and am organising this fundraiser for Sarah and Shaymaa. Shaymaa and I met in 2017, while working together on a theatre project in Gaza City, where we spent 5 days together. Since then, we have stayed in contact over social media.
