Support Sarah Mckittrick through Spinal Surgery

Dear Friends and Family,

We hope this email finds you all in good health and high spirits. Today, we are reaching out to our friends and family, as we have the opportunity to make a transformative difference in the life of someone dear to us. For those of you who do not know…our beloved friend Sarah McKittrick has been faced with a severe spinal injury and has been dealing with this for several months. This has left her with debilitating daily pain that limits her ability to work and provide for her family. In the last three months, Sarah has already undergone several procedures and as her condition becomes worse, she is now being required to have a very complex and highly risky spinal surgery. This surgery will fuss her discs together and remove the mass and disc fragments that are suppressing her spinal cord and nerves. After her surgery, Sarah will be required to stay in the hospital for several days and then need to recover at home for a min of 6-8 weeks after surgery with no ability to work. Anyone who knows Sarah would agree that this will be the hardest part of her recovery period as she is a hard worker and a single mom who is dedicated to providing a great life for her two children for her family.

For all of us who know Sarah, she is always in good spirits and always offering her friends and the community support and definitely would always ask how she can help others vs asking others to help. Sarah also is a very hard worker and will not stop working unless we all help to make that possible. Sarah owns her own business and does not qualify for any EDD or disability funds That is why this campaign is so important. After many conversations with Sarah and reasons why she can’t ask others to help she has given us the thumbs up to reach out to her tribe for help.

To lighten her load, her friends have taken the initiative to organize a fundraising campaign on behalf of Sarah and her children. Let’s help our friend through this journey by putting out positive healing vibes to Sarah and helping provide her with love and support that we believe could help her recover successfully.

1.) Sarah has created a porch store at her home with her holiday offerings including her beautiful succulent arrangements perfect for gifts for teachers, friends and home décor. Rather than shopping around this holiday season, make it a one-stop shop at Sarah's front porch and buy some of her beautiful arrangements for holiday gifts. 2.) Spread the Word: Let's harness the power of our existing networks to maximize our reach and bolster the fundraising efforts. Share this email, the dedicated fundraising page, or any related social media posts, encouraging others to join hands with us.

3.) We have created a GoFundMe page so that you can contribute by providing a small donation to assist in medical bills and monthly bills while she is unable to work. Sarah owns her own business and does not qualify for any EDD or disability funds. Remember, every little bit helps, and together we can make a significant difference.
