Support Sarah Morini's Stroke Recovery

Hello everyone,

My name is Michael Strippoli, and I am a close friend of Chris and Sarah Morini. Earlier this week, Sarah (Sue Braun's daughter/Dominick Rella's Step-Daughter) suffered what doctors are calling a massive stroke. She was found on the floor of her living room, unable to speak and unable to move her right side. They rushed her to the hospital and did a CT scan immediately, revealing that she has two major arteries blocked. We are unsure how permanent the deficits will be, but our immediate focus is on getting her on the road to recovery.

She has been able to "slur" a few words. She said "hi" to her brother on the phone and “I love you” to Chris. She seems to understand simple commands and has started moving her right leg a little, but her right arm is unfortunately immobile.

Sarah has a long road to recovery ahead of her, and we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support. Medical bills, therapy, and other related expenses will quickly add up, and we want to ensure that Chris and Sarah can focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial burdens.
