Donation protected
Last November Sarah was suddenly diagnosed with Stage IV Salivary Cancer after a routine check up.
Sarah is incredibly involved in her three kids lives (Austin, Rileigh and Lakota) and in her community. She is still attending every softball or basketball game that Lakota plays in…even if it’s right after a round of chemotherapy…she will insist on going straight to the game. She has never missed one of her kids games and doesn’t intend to let her diagnosis change that.
The initial tumor started in her neck and spread into areas of her bones. She has been undergoing chemotherapy since January. However, the cancer in her bones has caused multiple fractures that will require surgery before she can start radiation.
The sudden diagnosis has caused a strain on her families financial situation and depleted their savings. Sarah’s boys and immediate family are caring for her but there’s still a long road ahead with radiation and maintenance chemotherapy to go.
Any assistance received will go toward offsetting financial stressors so that her family can focus on caring for Sarah and kicking cancers a**!
