Support for Girls Education - Saraswati Vidyalaya Lucknow

Growing up, I watched my mother’s unwavering dedication as the Principal of Saraswati Kanya Inter College in Lucknow, a school serving girls from low-income families. Our family continues to support the school through scholarships and donations. Last December, my children visited, met the students, and built their own connection to this cause.

Girls' education and women's empowerment have always been close to my heart. If you’d like to contribute to the school instead of offering a personal gift, it would be deeply appreciated.

Our current goal, after discussing with staff and students, is to provide classroom furniture and establish a library.

History of the Saraswati Vidyalaya Girls Inter college, Narhi. Lucknow, India.

College was established in 1933. It is from class 1- class 12. College is co-edu from class1- class 8. Class 9-12 is only for girls. College have all the subjects upto class 10. College consist of 18 teachers and 3 Non teaching staff. Principal's name is Mrs. Lata kumari Singh ( M.A. - English & Education, B.Ed, Proficiency in French & Diploma in Educational Management ). College has a big ,neat and clean campus. Main sports is Wresling and kabaddi. Students have played in these game at National level too. Our scout and guide students have participated at all the levels and won many trophies. In co-curricular activities we organise many programme in all the fields...like music, dance, rangoli, quiz, art and craft, poster making in different institue like..zoo, indragandhi pratisthan, lok bhawan etc.They have won many awards and prizes.
