In January 2023, Sean Cincotta was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that usually develops in the osteoblast cells that form bone. About 1,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with osteosarcoma each year. Sean underwent a 14 hour surgery on March 13, and thanks to Dr. Kim and his wonderful team at Cooper University Health Care, much of the cancer was removed and the nerves in his arm and hands were preserved. The results of the pathology report showed a 5% margin of cancer in his tissue so the journey of chemotherapy began on May 15, 2023. Sean grew up in Ambler Pennsylvania, and attended LaSalle College High School. Sean graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University in 2017 and is currently a Vice President at Delancey Street Partners. For those of you who know Sean, he is a man filled with faith, a positive attitude and a commitment to giving back. Help us help Sean and support his journey by giving back to the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA). The mission of the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) is to advocate for sarcoma patients by funding research and by increasing awareness about the disease. The organization raises money to privately fund grants for sarcoma researchers and conducts education and advocacy efforts on behalf of sarcoma patients. Your donations of any amount will be truly appreciated by Sean and his family. #SeanStrong We thank you in advance for your support of any kind.
