Support Sash & Krishnan's Family After LA Fire Loss

My dear friend, Sash, her husband, Krishnan, and their three lovely children lost their home in the Palisades fires on January 7th. Their beautiful house, the hub of countless gatherings for both friends and family was destroyed, along with most of the homes in their neighborhood.

Sash, Krishnan, Shiva, Naya, and Uma moved to Pacific Palisades in 2011 and quickly settled into the community. All three kids attended Pali’s public school system which created enduring relationships, deepening their ties to the town. Sash's family has been heavily involved in their community – everything from donating food to the unhoused, to volunteering numerous hours at the elementary school and the local synagogue and participating in the annual turkey trot. Sash served as an alternate on the Pacific Palisades Community Council. They are passionate and devoted members of this special village.

Sash’s pride and joy was their house in the Alphabet Streets. She opened her home to many and delighted in hosting friends and family for countless dinners, barbecues, holidays, book clubs, teas, and the like – always fostering a warm, welcoming, familial environment.

Losing their home and all their possessions is devastating enough. But losing their town and the community that had become their extended family is unfathomable.

Please help to support Sash, Krishnan, and their children as they attempt to put the pieces of their lives back together and recover from this tragedy.

My name is Robinne Lee. I first met Sash many years ago, when our youngest ones were still toddlers. I was struck by her warmth, hospitality, and honesty, and we very quickly became close friends. Sash and Krishnan were instrumental in convincing me and my husband to raise our family in the Palisades. We spent nearly a decade there before moving abroad. But we continue to hold our friends from that time very dearly. We are heartbroken for all those who have lost everything and are determined to help in any way we can.
