Support Sava Treloar's Recovery

Our dear cousin Sava Treloar, 23 years old, was badly injured in a tragic dirt bike accident on Sunday, September 20th, 2020 on a trail near Grayling, Michigan. She had to be life-flighted to the hospital and then immediately underwent life-saving emergency surgery on her aorta and her spleen which stopped the bleeding and ultimately saved her life. Sava also suffered traumatic injuries to other parts of her body - her neck, tail-bone, pelvis and foot.
Sava has had multiple surgeries, was temporarily in neck brace and has a surgically attached pelvic brace. Two of the surgeries were to amputate part of her left foot followed up by a below the knee leg amputation on the same side so that she can be properly fitted with a prosthetic leg.
We are grateful that Sava is alive to be here with all of us today (she is such a beautiful soul and was always selfless when she encountered others in need) and hope she recovers in a record amount of time but it will involve what will probably seem like endless and grueling rehabilitation, physical therapy, learning to walk again with her new prosthetic... something that most of us learned to do early on in our lives.
Sava graduated from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan last year and then got her real estate license shortly after to pursue a career in real estate. She has a very bright and successful future ahead of her but it will take some time to heal and continue her path.
Thank you to all of the people that acted quickly to call 911, the first responders, the emergency room surgeons, doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers that worked so diligently to save Sava’s life - we are all eternally grateful. THANK YOU!
Thank you to all of Sava’s family, friends, colleagues, friends of friends, family of friends and complete strangers for the outpouring of support directly to our cousin Sava and her parents - it helped and is continuing to help them.
All contributions will go directly to Sava to help her with medical bills, rehabilitation, prosthetics, bills, etc… so that she can focus on healing and getting back to living the best life.
