Tax deductible
In the year 2025, drug overdose remains the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-44, highlighting the importance of sustained efforts to ensure drug education continues.
Please consider donating to sustain our foundation and support our latest initiative: to establish a permanent location for our Drug Education Exhibit, "Opening Eyes to Drugs: The Damaging Effects."
This exhibit aims to promote educational awareness and prevention of drug abuse. We believe that education is a vital tool in the fight against drugs and can make a positive difference in our communities. To make an online donation or learn more about the future exhibit, please click on the green booklet on our website: www.saveastar.org.
In our 18th year at Save A Star Drug Awareness Foundation, we continue our mission to:
1. Educate the public about the dangers and consequences of prescription drug abuse and addiction.
2. Provide for the collection and safe disposal of unused and expired medications, including controlled substances, thus keeping them out of the hands of individuals who might otherwise become victims of prescription drug abuse, addiction, and possible death.
Save A Star Drug Awareness Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity established in 2007 following the untimely death of our son, 25-year-old Daniel Lee Katz, from an overdose of prescription drugs.
