Support Scot Crowder's fight against cancer
Donation protected
Hello and thank you for visiting my page! This GoFundMe is in support of Scot Crowder and his family members. This is his testimony:
In 2019, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and an attempted proctectomy was performed, but ultimately aborted because the cancer had spread outside of the prostate. I was treated with 8 weeks of radiation, which most people didn’t know about. I never skipped a beat- went in early before work, was treated and then off to work like a normal day. We got the all-clear, life continued on, and everything was good.
Fast forward to March of 2023, I started having some shoulder pain- maybe old age, yard work, or working out. After a few weeks of putting it off and awaiting an appointment, the orthopedic doctor called with my test results and knocked the wind out of me at work- unfortunately, the cancer had returned. I have been to countless treatments, and hundreds of doctors' appointments, and spent one too many nights in the hospital over the past 10 months, but Crystal and our children, Liz and Nick, have been walking with me every step of this journey.
Last week, we received the unfortunate news that I was out of treatment options, and I was placed into hospice care. I am at home surrounded by loved ones who are helping to keep me comfortable. I encourage all of you to live life to the fullest every day and remember to act like my blood type… B+!
Not only is Scot a cancer warrior but also a dedicated husband to Crystal, a loving father to Liz and Nick, a passionate musician, a skilled photographer, a loyal co-worker, an exquisite chef, an avid cyclist, and someone who embraces the love for adventures & traveling. Scot embodies selflessness and thoughtfulness in all of his actions. He consistently thinks of the well-being of others, showing genuine care and concern for those around them.
Any and all donations are appreciated to help cover medical costs, and whatever is not used will be donated in support of cancer research. Thank you for your support and never give up the fight to cure cancer!
