Help Save Scotfest: Recover from a Christmas Day Theft

For nearly 45 years, Scotfest has been Oklahoma’s celebration of Celtic culture, a festival that brings joy to thousands and supports servicemen, veterans, and local cultural events. But now, we’re facing the fight of our lives.

On Christmas night, in a season meant for love and generosity, an organized group of thieves broke into our secure storage facility in Broken Arrow, OK, and stole our $15,000 24-foot trailer. Inside were over $70,000 worth of equipment, including our entrance scaffolding, custom bars, tools, signage, umbrellas and bases, VIP furniture, tools, gaming equipment, and much more—everything we need to bring Scotfest to life.

As if this loss wasn’t devastating enough, we’ve discovered that due to a clerical error, the trailer and its contents aren’t covered by insurance.

We’re a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, run entirely by volunteers. Every penny we earn is poured back into the festival and the community we love. This theft is not just a blow to us—it’s a blow to every Scotfest attendee, every veteran we honor, and every child who has felt inspired by the Celtic culture we celebrate.

We need your help.

Please consider making a donation to help us recover from this devastating loss. Your support will help us:

• Replace the stolen equipment.

• Ensure Scotfest continues to operate in 2025 and beyond.

• Bring the magic of Celtic culture back to Oklahoma.

No amount is too small—every dollar gets us one step closer to ensuring Scotfest survives.

We also invite you to join us at our Robert Burns fundraising dinner on January 25th at River Spirit Casino. It’s a night to celebrate Scotland’s national poet and the resilience of our community.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and belief in the spirit of Scotfest. Together, we can overcome this setback and keep the festival’s legacy alive for generations to come.
