Support Scot's Final Journey

Donation protected
With broken hearts, we share that Scot Newell passed away late September 28th, 2024 from natural causes. Scot's family, closest friends, and business partner & best friend (that's me, Angela) are seeking help to fund Scot's Memorial and Cremation.

Scot played many roles during his life - child music prodigy, political intellectualist, traveler, small business owner, car enthusiast, dog-lover, hiker & cyclist, and so much more. Scot brought matchless energy, life, and drive into every aspect of his life. As an entrepreneur, Scot was the visionary behind Ethos Bakery in Richland, WA. His passion helped build Ethos into a beloved Richland institution, known throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Scot was 48 when he passed away from natural causes while out of town for a family event. His passing is shocking because of his healthy and active lifestyle. With the unexpected nature of his death, his family is not prepared for the financial burden of putting Scot to rest and celebrating his memory, and with Ethos' recent expansion coupled with the business impacts resulting from Scot's passing, Ethos is not able to fund the necessary arrangements. So, his loved ones would like to ask for your support in this final journey

We do not have memorial details yet as we are in the process of coordinating his transfer to Richland. We will share this information as soon as details are finalized.

Thank you, truly, for your support.
