Support Scott Hinton's Medical Recovery

Hi Everyone - My name is Patty Hinton and I have created this on behalf of my brother, Scott Hinton. Scotty was in an accident on June 25, 2023 and his motorcyle was totaled. He has been at the Grand Strand Medical Center since the accident. He has suffered a lacerated liver, perenial tear (anus to scrodem), fractured left shoulder, fractured right wrist, internal bleeding, shattered pelvis, broken left knee and tibia, broken right tibia and femur, fracture of his superior end plate (L2) - lower back, blocked/kinked aorta artery, and a sternal fracture. He has undergone surgery to repair his pelvis and a second surgery to his left knee and tibia. He spent 2 days in Trauma, 6 days in ICU and has graduated to a regular hospital room for the unknown future. Scotty's life has completely changed as a result of this accident - he is completely immobile from the waist down and will not be able to put any weight on his lower legs for at least 3 months. I have started this in an effort to help him now as well as his recovery once he gets out of the hospital. He does not have any health coverage! I know that a lot of people are strapped for cash but any donation in any amount will help him.
