Support Scott Marquis' Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
UPDATE (He's going to sass me for this ;P - I don't care, I know there are good people out there willing to help.)
The cancer came back. Dad has been needing frequent blood transfusions over the past few months to keep his cell counts up. The frequency at which he needed them was not expected, prompting his doctors to get another bone marrow biopsy and it resulted with the news that the leukemia had returned.
He has started taking oral chemotherapy, while still working full time for Customs. He still gets weekly blood / platelet transfusions. He will be traveling 3 hours from his home in Louisiana to Houston, Texas in the near future for more aggressive chemo in preparation for a bone marrow transplant.
During that time, he and Kelley will need housing while keeping up rent for their home back in Louisiana. Not to mention the loss of work time and medical bills.
If you are in any way willing and able to help financially, we are forever grateful. Maybe you can donate blood or register on bethematch.org. Or simply send a prayer up or a kind message reminding him how incredibly strong and resilient he is. Any donation, positive thought, or support is so incredibly appreciated.

In mid-July, while vacationing and visiting family in northern Maine, my dad, Scott Marquis, was hospitalized and diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. He was transported a few days later to Maine Medical Center in Portland to start chemotherapy and other treatment as soon as possible. He remains hospitalized in Portland during his treatment, further testing, and until he is healthy enough to travel home.
He and his wife Kelley are now thousands of miles from their home in Louisiana and hours away from most family.
Any support you can provide, no amount is too small, will help with medical, food, and travel expenses as Scott fights this with his incredible strength is appreciated. We are so confident that his otherwise good health and faith will lead him to a full recovery.
