Support Sebastian in his Seminary Studies

Hi everyone,

My name is Sebastian Molin. I am a 2nd-year seminary student at Andrews Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

How I got here
Ever since I was a young child, I have felt a calling on my life to pursue a life of ministry and service to God. It all started when a young child came home from church, set a communion table in the living room with bread and grape juice from the kitchen fridge, and asked his parents to "take and eat."
Although the sacrament of communion ought not to be taken lightly but with reverence - this young child's parents thought it wise not to dismiss such an act. Instead, they encouraged their young child to continue his walk with the Lord, and encouraged him to grow in faith and knowledge of God.
In 2nd grade, at a career fair, when his public school teacher asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, this young boy claimed without shame: when I grow up I want to be a pastor!
As time progressed, and this once young boy graduated from High School, it was time to decide what he would do next in life. He wanted to go to a private Christian University and get a bachelor's degree in Theology, yet the costs of such a degree pushed him to doubt the calling he had heard repeatedly.
It wasn't until he was in his second year at a local State University that this young man, convicted of running away from the call he's been hearing throughout his life, decided to take a leap of faith and attend Seminary School.
He changed his major to Communication Studies in hopes of mastering the art of communicating effectively and eventually graduated and applied to Andrews University.
At the age of 21, without much economic advantage - but only that which he had saved up from Birthday and Holiday gifts throughout the years, as well as hard-earned money from cleaning homes and delivering groceries to households during the 2020 Pandemic - the young man got in his car and drove across the country to attend the Seminary School.
This short account of a young man's journey to Divinity School is my story.

How You Can Help Me
Having finished my first year in Seminary Studies, I am finding myself struggling to maintain economic survival and academic excellence simultaneously. Taking 14 credit hours per semester, and working around the clock (including night shifts), is exhausting. Yet no matter the difficulty, I am assured that God has called me to a life devoted to preaching his Word and working for the Gospel cause.
Any financial help that you can offer towards helping me reach my funding goal will go a long way to help me obtain the degree that will help me pursue a life of dedicated and devoted ministry. It will be met with much gratitude. Prayers are also deeply requested, the means of grace which God has given us as sustenance. May the Lord bless you and your family.

I thank you, and I am praying for every one of you!
