Support Sebastian's Fight Against Neuroblastoma

Donation protected
As we live life some things are just completely out of our control. This precious baby boy right here is my nephew Sebastian. My sister and brother in law have 4 children whom Sebastian is their youngest just turning 3 June 1st. A few months ago, My sister in law realized he had been getting sick more frequently, extremely tired and not having An appetite as usual. Since she noticed he has been sick she has religiosly brought him to doctors trying to figure out what was wrong. Her mind was racing as she is persuing a nursing career to better her life for her family and is half way done with nursing school, she knew something was going on inside him. This is her baby and momma knows best ! During visits they just correlated symptoms to a virus since his panels would come back positive and he had similar symptoms to that of a common cold, They even prescribed him appetite medication to help since he was loosing weight due to not eating and it was working, but later on they discovered a lump on his neck that came along with a fever and that’s when blood work was requested and ultrasounds because his belly had also been looking a little bigger and harder. On Friday June 14th, Shortly after the tests she got a phone call no mother wants to hear. Sebastian has a tumor the size of a peach surrounding his organs around his liver and several other organs so big in his little body pressing on his veins and arteries. Mom and Dad were in disbelief and broken. he was rushed to the hospital that same day where tests, biopsies and necessary urgent surgery had to be done and within that weekend he was diagnosed with stage 3 neuroblastoma cancer that has spread to his lymph node. Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that occurs in children under the age of 5. As the doctors told them his case is high risk, as he is soo little with this aggressive cancer they put him for a trial Chemo that was just opened nation wide last week and is already finishing his first round of Chemo. He is the first child in John Hopkins all Children’s Hospital who will be testing the new therapy as only around 480 kids in the entire US are approved for the trial. As we see the the diagnosis we understand this serious devastation, we know moving forward how faithful our God is and he is going to open every single door in his journey and see him through to 100 percent healthy from the souls of his feet to the top of his head in the name of Jesus ! The doctors told them because of his circumstances with this Cancer and how it has developed in his body it might take years of treatment to recover. His Mom Laura, found herself having to step down from her nursing program to be by his side at all times during this jorney and the father, James is very known in the community spending his entire adult life giving back, coaching teams and for all he does for kids as he runs a non profit organization sports teams called Ball for Christ, spending a lot of time giving and helping children. He has been working as a leader and director for foster boys for over 10 years now. His passion for helping others is so important to them. So as a Community I believe we can all help the family out tremendously. The financial burden James has on his back as being the only one who has been working because he has been taking care of home and his wife while she was going to nursing school is very heavy. With the terrible circumstances and them having to stay at the hospital because the condition Sebastian is in it is very expensive with food and traveling back and forth and we all know the bills and life and the care for their other 3 children don’t stop ! We are asking for any donations small or big to help see this beautiful family through the next couple years of this journey they have to be on. I am confident the Lord will provide and the weight of the financial burden can be lifted as it is a big fear in this circumstance. Please Share this and Thank you all for your kind generosity ❤️
