Support Seema and Emily After the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
On January 8, 2025, Seema Seraj and Emily Elbert lost their beautiful sanctuary home in Altadena, CA to the devastating Eaton Fire. They purchased this home in 2021 and poured their hearts, time, and effort into renovating it into a space for community—a sacred sanctuary where people could gather, share food, music, and joy. It was more than just a home; it was a place of connection, healing, and love.
Seema Seraj, a ceremonialist and therapist in training, has dedicated her life to service. She worked tirelessly as a public school teacher for many years to create the life and home that she dreamed of. She has opened her doors to countless people in need of refuge and healing.
Emily Elbert, a talented and renowned musician, has touched hearts around the world with her music. Her work has brought healing and comfort to so many, and like Seema, Emily’s warmth and generosity have been an unwavering source of light for all who know her.
The fire has left them with the heartbreaking uncertainty of whether their home will be covered by insurance, and while we know that many others are also affected by this disaster, we are reaching out for support during this incredibly difficult time.
If you are able, please consider donating, sharing, and supporting Seema and Emily as they begin to heal from this unimaginable loss and work toward rebuilding their lives. Every contribution—no matter how small—will help them recover and grieve the home and community they have so lovingly built.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this time of need.
