Support Sehrish's Family in Time of Loss

Hi, my name is Sehrish Zafar, and I am writing to you with a heart heavy with grief. Just a week ago, we celebrated the first birthday of our beautiful twins, but now, life has taken an unimaginable turn.

On July 29, 2022, I married my soulmate, Sanan Malik. Sanan was more than just my husband; he was my best friend, my dream partner, and the heart of our home. His infectious joy, his warm, caring nature, and his unwavering dedication to our family and friends filled our lives with happiness. Sanan was an extraordinary father to our twins, always giving his all to be the best husband and father.

Tragedy struck our lives on June 29th, around 3:50 PM., when Sanan was tragically taken from us in a road accident in Garden City, NY. The suddenness of his passing has left an indescribable void and unimaginable pain.

Sanan was the cornerstone of our family, managing everything, including our financial needs. Now, without him, I am overwhelmed with the responsibility of managing substantial rent and mounting bills. With our twin children just turning one, the financial strain has become even more daunting. Currently, I am unemployed, and the weight of these financial burdens is crushing.

I never imagined finding myself in this position, but life’s unpredictability has brought us here. In honor of Sanan’s memory and to help rebuild our shattered lives, I have started this GoFundMe campaign.
