Early Saturday morning, i received the devastating news that no parent should ever have to hear. Her youngest son, Malik Henderson, just 23 years old, and his best friend were involved in a tragic car accident. A driver, recklessly speeding at over 100 miles per hour, struck their vehicle, taking both of their lives instantly.

The sudden and heartbreaking loss of Malik has left Selena facing not only the immense emotional burden of losing her child but also the unexpected financial challenges that come with it. Hes leaving behind a beautiful 11 month old who is about to be 1 in a few days. I am setting up this GoFundMe to help myself cover the overwhelming costs associated with Malik’s medical and funeral expenses, as well as the additional support we will need in the weeks and months to come.
