Support Seniors with Vision Loss: Low Income Meal Program
Tax deductible
Picture a world where losing eyesight means losing access to something as basic as a meal. For many seniors challenged with vision loss, this is their reality. This is where Vista Center steps in.
Every week, Vista Center provides more than just a bag of food. Our balanced hot meals nurture their physical strength, emotional wellness, and independence.
Did you know:
- 100% of our clients are either blind or have low vision.
- A staggering 92% qualify as low-income by Santa Clara County; 75% are very low income.
- Additionally, 29% of these seniors live alone and suffer from isolation.
…. they all rely on our Senior Meal Program.
In the Bay Area, where the cost of living is soaring, many seniors struggle to make ends meet with medications, public transportation, electricity fees, and other daily living expenses make living with vision loss extra challenging.
With your help, we can ease their burdens. Your donations will directly cover the cost of meals, transportation to Vista Center, and the certified staff managing the food service. Together, we can provide a warm meal, with companionship and community.
Every financial contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
Join us in supporting seniors with vision loss and ensuring they receive the dignity and honor they deserve.
Thank you for making a positive impact in our community!
