Support Sensory Play for Erin's Preschoolers

Hi!

My name is Erin and this is my 11th year teaching students with disabilities. For the past two years I’ve worked with preschool students alongside some fabulous teachers and teaching assistants. This year we have seventeen 3 and 4 year old students with varying abilities.

We have recently been gifted a sandbox made my individuals working to get their life back on track. Our sandbox will be housed on our playground. Now, we are working to raise money to fill our sandbox with sand! This will fulfill sensory needs while also providing developmentally appropriate social opportunities for the students.
