Our beloved West African Drum and Dance teacher, Seny Daffe, is currently facing a medical crisis that has rallied our close-knit community quickly to get him the medical care he needs. Seny has been hospitalized due to an abscess in his hand that spread and caused painful infection and rapid swelling, and potential cellulitis. His road to recovery is challenging, and hopefully without any lasting complications, being one to earn an income as a self-employed drum and dance teacher and drummer and as one that works predominantly with his hands. We are reaching out for your assistance.

The Situation:

Seny Daffe has been hospitalized for three days, receiving intensive treatment with intravenous antibiotics. This unexpected medical emergency has caused him to suffer a loss of wages, and the mounting hospital bills will be a significant burden. While his close friend, Adina Michelle, and a few other members of our dance community have rallied around him during this difficult time, we are asking for your help to provide essential medical advocacy and financial support to aid in his recovery.
