On Friday March 14, 2025, Sergeant Adam Pelta of the United States Capitol Police suffered a life changing medical emergency that has resulted in an extended medical stay with multiple invasive medical procedures. Sergeant Pelta began his career with Capitol Police 16 years ago and recently became a sergeant. While working he met and began dating his wife, Metropolitan Police Department Sergeant Molly Pelta (Ames). Together they'll face new challenges in this uncertain time.
