Support Seth Bernard's Rest and Recovery

The last few years have been rough for lots of folks, with many lessons for how we care for ourselves and others. There are three: Frist, to never take good health for granted. Second, for lots of us, income is dependent on constant good health. Third, that strong communities requires a deep level of care for each other.
Right now, Seth is embodying all three of those lessons.
You probably know Seth. He’s been a steady presence in Michigan music and activism since before his first album dropped in 2001. Maybe you've seen and heard him stand up for clean water in Lansing and beyond. Maybe you've seen and heard him advocate for racial justice around the state. Or working with youth or teaching songwriting for social justice. Or on-stage, with Jordan Hamilton, or Airborne or Aquatic, or solo, rocking powerful lyrics and face-melting guitar licks across the nation.
But you haven't seen or heard much of him lately.
Because what was initially thought to be a pelvic misalignment, bad enough on its own, turned out to be compounded by the discovery of Lyme disease, leading to a double-helping of debilitating pain.
An accurate diagnosis is its own kind of relief, but a long road of healing lies ahead.
Seth’s daily work entwines with just about everything we hold dear in our lives. Now Seth needs to stop, rest, and heal. But he has bills to pay, and obligations to meet, and a daughter to love and support.
He needs our help. He needs YOUR help.
Let’s show Seth that we know what community looks like. Let’s show the world that it’s ok to take time to rest and heal without sacrificing one’s ability to keep up on bills.
Help us keep Seth on the fast track to recovery, in every sense of the word.
