Support SFC Jay Jinks’ Family

SFC Jay Jinks needed our support almost three years ago when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Now, his family needs your support. Jay fought with everything he has, but his battle is coming to an end. It is time for the SOF community, including family and friends, to pick up the torch and take care of his loved ones. We are requesting that you give anything you can to ensure Jay’s family has no financial concerns during this difficult time. 

We have taken care of our brothers many times in the past and it is now time to rally for our extended family once again.

SFC Jinks has served honorably in the Special Operations Community since the mid-90s. He passed the Special Forces Assessment and Selection then completed the Special Forces Qualification Course to earn the coveted Green Beret. SFC Jinks found himself assigned to 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and joined a dive team. He completed the Special Forces Combat Diver Qualification Course making him a rare commodity even within the SOF community.  SFC Jinks continued to train and deploy with 10th SFG(A) until the early 2000s. He later joined the 20th SFG(A) in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and continued to  train and deploy around the world in service to his country. SFC Jinks served with honor and always made the military experience better for those around him. We will continue to remember and honor his legacy.
