Support Sgt. York's Resting Place Maintenance

The Wolf River Cemetery in Pall Mall, TN, is one of the oldest and largest rural cemeteries in Tennessee. Sgt. Alvin C. York, WWI's most decorated hero, is buried here. As a result, we have hundreds of visitors each year.

The Wolf River Cemetery Association, a 501(c)(3) corporation, is responsible for grounds maintenance. Private donations are the only source of funds. Costs for mowing and grounds care are $9,000 annually, all coming from donations. 100% of all funds collected are used for grounds expenses.

Our primary fundraiser for many years has been a collections tent on Memorial Day weekend. We had problems raising money this year on Memorial Day weekend to commemorate our fallen veterans, due to severe storms we only raised $2,500.

Our Go Fund Me goal for 2024 is $7,000 as we have an onsite collection box that brings small but steady donations.
