Hello, my name is Antoinette Hargrove, the mother of Shamanesha Hargrove. On June 23, Shamanesha was celebrating her 25th birthday with her sister and a group of friends. She had a designated driver and felt she was safe. Unfortunately, they were involved in a fatal accident where Shamanesha was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident not only took my baby on her birthday but left her sister fighting for her life.

Shamanesha was a bright, spirited, smart young woman who was full of life and willing to help anybody. She was a 2023 graduate of Winston Salem State University, her life was just beginning. Unfortunately, I just started a new job and her life insurance hadn’t kicked in yet.
