Support Shamar's Fight for Recovery After Tragic Hit-and-Run

On December 14th, 2024, our beloved Shamar was the victim of a horrific motorcycle hit-and-run accident that left him fighting for his life. After being struck by a pickup truck, he was left on the side of the highway in critical condition until a passing driver found him and called for help.

The injuries Shamar has endured are severe and extensive. By the time he made it to the hospital he was unresponsive. He suffered a ruptured liver that caused him to bleed out internally, requiring an emergency blood transfusion and he was cut open to undergo immediate abdominal trauma surgery to stabilize him. The front part of his skull was cracked in half, also leading to bleeding in his brain. The entire left side of his face was fractured (yes, he was wearing his helmet). He has suffered a fractured rib, scapula, and clavicle (he was also wearing his chest plate). Along with some other minor injuries as well.

Shamar is now in the fight of his life, but if there's one thing we know, it's that he is incredibly strong-both physically and mentally. With God's grace, his healthcare team, and the support of those who love him, we believe he will make a full recovery.

Shamar has always been a pillar of strength for those around him. An army veteran that denied himself for his country just to fight for others. From motivating others to lead healthier lifestyles and working out to bringing joy and laughter to every room he enters, Shamar has touched countless lives with his positive spirit and sense of humor. Now, it's our turn to show up for him.

Above all, he is a devoted father whose world revolves around his daughter, Madison. His greatest fight now is to recover to continue being there for her. So far he has been fighting with everything in him.
