Support Shane During Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
UPDATE 12/21/23
Our family wanted to thank everyone for the donations received these past few weeks and give an update on dads care.
Shane had his first week of chemo and had some complications resulting in another surgery.
Dad had a stent put in, and it unblocked his artery.
Thank you to the friends/family who have made food donations and written checks for my parents.
This Holliday season has been so hard but we are all staying as positive as we can throughout this journey.
Please keep dad in your prayers through these next few months

Hi, I’m Lorelei Shane Clark’s oldest daughter.

I am making this in hopes to give my father some comfort and peace during this hardship.

Please keep reading and understand what and who you’re donating to.

Shane is 57 years young, born June 3rd 1966. Shane graduated from Carson City High school in 1984.

After high school Shane has been a loyal press operator for Hutchinson in Ithaca. He has dedicated 22 years working for the company being the sole provider for four children and multiple grandchildren Hutchinson is his livelihood.

Shane enjoys playing on a co-ed softball team with his youngest daughter Joselyne. He has played softball his entire life.

When he is not enjoying the summer heat playing softball, practicing, games and tournaments you can find Shane swimming with his kids and grandkids. Crystal lake or Warner road gravel pits you would probably find our entire family there some days.

Shane is the family man and has done everything he could to take care of his family throughout the years.

This July Shane was experiencing stomach problems and went to the Emergency Room. Come to find out his appendix needed to be removed.

He had surgery to remove appendix immediately.

The doctors shattered my parents hearts when he told them he found some things that were concerning.
After the past few months of testing, appointments not being able to work.

Shane has been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma appendicitis. (CMS/HCC) Stage 3b.

Shane has had surgery for his chemotherapy port. He will be starting chemotherapy immediately for the next 9 months.

This has devastated our family and we are praying and doing what we can to keep our dad as comfortable as possible.
We are taking donations to help him with his mortgage, bills, food, transportation. They are struggling and becoming behind quickly after half a year off work and 9 more months to come.

We are taking local donations for food, as they have a deep freezer that can be filled for comfort and peace for these next few months.

Please reach out to Lorelei Wilfong [phone redacted] (txt/call) to set up arrangements for donations. I can travel to you if needed.

Our parents tried to set up a *paypal fund* and were unsuccessful with exporting any donations and everything was returned. They are not internet savy nor should have to worry about this during these times so I took on the responsibility.
