Support Shane Travis and Family in Memory of Lori

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We come to you with heavy hearts to share the tragic news of the passing of Lori Travis, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away January 29th, 2025, on her oldest daughter Trinity's birthday, after a very aggressive battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed over 18 months ago, and she fought incredibly hard to the end. She leaves behind a family who will forever love and miss her, including her husband Shane, 4 kids (Trinity 24, Logan 22, Kenton 15, Libby 14) and a son and daughter-in-law (Aaron and Johana). So thankful she was able to be at both of her children's weddings this year.

Her husband Shane is my big brother bear, whom we love dearly. His dedication to getting her well was undeniable. He drove her 7+ hours to and from Houston to MD Anderson for treatments 1-4 times a month to try and get the best care possible. He did everything he could for her.

Tragedy didn't stop there for this family. They lost their home to a fire 2 months ago, and their insurance had lapsed on it, so they literally lost everything. I have helped them secure a new home, but it will be unfurnished, so we will need to help them with everything down to plates, forks, and hangers. (link below)

As we prepare to say goodbye, we are also faced with the financial burden of funeral expenses. We are reaching out to family, friends, and kind strangers to help us honor her life and give her the farewell she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us during this difficult time.
