Support THE ADVENTURES OF HEALING, Healing Mission

My name is Shaniece Radford, and I am the CEO and Founder of The Adventure of Healing and New Life services it is a nonprofit organization. That support women and children by offering services such as life coaching and group therapy service. As well as helping with and providing resources for shelter and food assistance and providing a Bible for each member and feminine essentials .The organization goal is to reach, out to youth and adults females that may have suffered from PTSD due to molestation rape abuse and other traumatic experience that we as women experience and allow it to stop us from healing and truly growing into What God wants us to become. The group age will be a range of ages 10-18 and 18 and up. The idea is to have different ages so we can all educate each other. We understand everyone healing process is different and has its own timing. This is a group that will discuss about God and how God has helped many of us through the storm. We welcome all no matter what your spiritual background maybe. The group can be held in person or virtual and we take pride in knowing and respecting each other privacy which means what is said in the group stays in group. Rather you are new to group or been with us from the beginning. We all are trying to heal, and we are healing through the word of God as a sisterhood.

Alot of the females that are in my group are females that are low income, I would like to get Grants to not only supply them with things they need like laptops to join the zoom meetings and to be able to prepare for school rather they are going to middle high school or college. I would like to provide bible for those that don't have one. I would also like to provide things that women need every month that can be expensive like feminine essential. I want to be able to provide gift cards if groceries are needed until next pay day or snap benefits are reloaded. Everything right now is coming out of my pocket I even have the meetings at my home and on zoom we started off with just 6 people on June 18 and now we have 16 since July 2. I pay for the speakers to speak and to promote healthy eating and self-care I buy samples from other small businesses so my group can have an idea of how to get access to smarter and healthier eating also I promote self-care and try to provide the ladies with samples of things to help them with their self-care days. Right now, for supplies and other things like paying for therapist to come out and talk about mental health and the importance of counseling and medications if medication is needed. My whole goal is to stop trauma from being shared down to the next generation by offering resources and support if you know of anyone that would like to donate to this organization, sponsor or any grants that maybe available please have them contact me
