To all my friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that my father, Shann Slater, Sr. passed away last weekend after his battle with prostate cancer. “Chilly,” as he was known to his friends and family, was funny, loving, and kind. He was loved by all and will be very sorely missed. As my family goes through the process of preparing for his services, we are finding many unexpected funeral and end-of-life expenses that make a difficult situation even harder. It was my father’s wish to be laid to rest in South Carolina; please help me give my family comfort in making this happen.
