Support Sharon After Vance's Sudden Loss

Hello everyone. I am opening this fund because I am overwhelmed with expenses for the funeral, headstone and legal fees of Vance Thomas. He was my fiancé and love of my life for 39 years. He passed away suddenly at the age of 59. He had retired from FedEx and didn’t have any life insurance after retiring.

I had my whole story written out, but it is very long, so I am going to try to just get to the point.

The funeral home charges were 16,500.00. The casket 2900.00. The attorney fee for probate is 4,500.00. The headstone is considerably more due to the cemetery requiring a bronze plate, which I wasn’t aware of when I chose the cemetery, is approximately 8900.00. I am waiting on another estimate hoping for a little less. So, the total financial burden this has put on me is 32,800.00.

All of our bills came out of his checking account. I gave him ½ of the household bills every month and he paid everything. The bank froze his account, after telling me they wouldn’t, and now I am having to try to figure out how to pay all the household bills in addition to the burial and probate fees.

I know in this economy we are all struggling. I know it is Christmas time. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot help, I understand, don’t put a financial strain on yourself to help me, just pray for me please. Thank you for reading my story and for any donations.
