Support Sharon and Chris Hutt Through Health Crisis

Hello! I am starting this fundraiser for my Mom, Sharon, and my Dad, Chris.

Sharon has been fighting Stage 4 kidney disease for a few years now. On Sunday, May 5th my Mom was admitted to the hospital for shortness of breath, lack of mobility, and swelling in her legs and feet.

After several tests a couple of things were found. Sharon has the beginning stages of congestive heart failure. We also found out that she needs to go on dialysis. On May 10th, she had a catheter placed in order to be able to do dialysis at home during the night. But the catheter has to heal for a couple of weeks before she can do that.

My Dad, Chris, has been by her side this entire time. In the next few weeks, he will be taking a training class with my Mom on how to do dialysis at home. This class will be 2 weeks, 8 hours a day. Due to this, my Dad is not able to work. He is an independent contractor and does NOT receive paid vacation or sick time. He is paid hourly and the main bread winner of their family. All in all, my Dad will be missing about a month of work, once things have settled down. With medical bills growing, travel to/from the facility, and daily living they are going to be struggling.
