Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Randy Lynch on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024. Randy was my father, he was also a brother, an uncle, and triend to others. Tis loss has left us not only grieving but also financially unprepared for the costs associated with his memorial service.
Randy faced many challenges throughout his life. Although he was incapable of raising me, my father Randy maintained a close bond with me throughout my life, through countless letters and drawings-a testament to his enduring love and presence in my life despite his hardships.
From a young age in Elkhart, Indiana, Randy overcame significant obstacles. An accident in fifth grade lefl lasting emotional and psychological effects, yet he found a way to exect in the Special Olympics, bringing light to his community. Randy's resilienee continued through adulthood, where he worked in various capacities in maintaining apartments and repairs, helping others even when he faced his own periods of instability and housing insecurity.
As the holiday season approaches, we find ourselves struggling to arrange a fitting farewell. We aim to raise $3,000 to cover the funeral and memorial expenses, ensuring Randy receives the dignified goodbye he deserves.
We kindly ask for your support-financial, emotional, or simply by sharing this campaign. Livery gesture of support is invaluable and deeply appreciated during this painful time.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide as we honor Randy's memory.
With heartfelt thanks,
Sharon Matthews and the Lynch family
