Support Shaun's Battle Against Oral Cancer

This is Shaun. You may know him by one of his many other titles: Dad, brother, son, husband, bonus dad, friend, brother-in-law, Mr. Feehan…the list could go on and on.

As of this summer, he has taken on a new title — fighter.

As many of you know, Shaun was recently diagnosed with Stage IV oral cancer. For a healthy 45-year-old non-smoker, with no family history of oral cancer, to say this was a surprise is an understatement.

Treatment has started quickly and Shaun has just completed his first round of chemotherapy. Through it all, Shaun’s still himself- strong, thoughtful, sarcastic, funny and…dare I say it? Stubborn.

The long road ahead is filled with many unknowns for Shaun, Jen, Caydence, and Natalie. Many have generously offered to provide meals, rides to treatment, babysitting, etc., which have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. The one thing we can all give to them right now, is the gift of financial support. Right now, Shaun is physically unable to work his usual summertime contractor jobs and will not be able to return to teaching in the Fall. This GoFundMe will go towards: medical expenses (because hello, medication costs are WILD), gas money to appointments/treatments in Philly, a meal on the days when no one has the energy to cook, and any other inevitable costs that present themselves along the way.
