Support Shaun's Recovery After Assault & Battery

Hello everyone, my name is Shaun, my business is Furry Critters Mobile Salon and I never thought I will be in this situation to ask for help. I am a very independent, hard working individual that supports myself and after what happened to me it put me in a situation to ask for once in my lifetime for a helping hand.

On August 8th I was a victim of assault and battery. I own a mobile dog grooming business I was heading home after being done with work. I was 5 minutes away from home until I encountered an extreme road rager in an SUV that illegally got in the bike lane to pass me. I moved over to the left lane and she was driving on the side of me merging into my lane trying to bully me off the road. I was so close to home I thought maybe she will continue to go straight as I was proceeding to make a left turn to go to my condo community. Unfortunately she got behind me in the turning lane, throwing soda bottles at the back of my work vehicle. I was waiting for traffic to pass to make a left but the lady behind me swerved into incoming traffic to pull in the condo community got out of the suv and waited for me. I pulled into my condo community and she walked very aggressively towards my bus, as I swerved to avoid hitting her she hit the side of my work vehicle with something. I got out to look at the damage and out of nowhere she attacked me, broke my ankle and repeatedly punched me broke my glasses when I was down on the ground. She ran back to her suv, witnesses tried to get her license plate but she tried running them over.

I went to Urgent Care and after x rays my ankle is severely broken. I saw an Orthopedist on Aug 12th and I will need surgery. Unfortunately my business will be temporarily shut down until I can go back to work in about 8 weeks or so. I will be applying for Disability but I know that will take a long time to receive. I love doing my job, working with animals and making a difference. I never miss a day of working, my clients have always called me reliable. After this incident happened I don't feel reliable at all. I had to cancel all my clients grooming appointments. I feel worthless, powerless, depressed, and in extreme pain physically and emotionally. I have business and commercial vehicle insurance and unfortunately they don't cover this type of situation. I am at a loss and I exhausted all resources. I just need a little helping hand to help pay the remaining of my surgical medical bills and personal bills as well. I worked so hard for everything and I am afraid I will lose everything all because of a crazed road rager getting upset for no reason. I will appreciate any help. Thank you so very much.
