Shawn Delano, son to Tom and Crystal, step son to be to Shannon, was critically injured in an automobile accident late last week. He is still in ICU with a long road of recovery ahead.

Shawn graduated from East Kentwood High School in 2025 and had just begun his first semester at Albion College, where he is excited to play both football and lacrosse. A young man with a bright and promising future, Shawn is an avid hunter, outdoor enthusiast, and passionate athlete. He is his dad Tom’s best friend and truly a gentle giant, a teddy bear with a smile that could light up any room.

Right now, Shawn and his family are facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain road ahead. As he begins his journey toward healing in the hospital, there will be medical expenses, time away from work for his parents, and many unexpected costs along the way.
