Support Shayla's Journey to Nationals

Hello friends and family!!

So, here we are! Shayla has been accepted to a Skills program through her secondary trades education at CACC / HVAC - SHEET METAL Competing, this has been a process for her thus far in Junior Year:

1st- Essay - she made it to the next round

2nd-Peoria, IL. (3 day long stay)

As of today, 4/26/25, Shayla has placed GOLD (1st place)in her competition division, which she had competing hours yesterday (Friday) of 8am - 3:45pm working on her skills assigned project, not student chosen, utilizing the Pittsburg machines, and all other skill set settings needed for sheet metal building! She said it was tough, but she enjoyed it!

Many Illinois schools were also competing in Sheet Metal at the high school level...

3rd stop - NATIONALS IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA - Our girl is going to NATIONALS !!!!

With that being said, we have roughly 6 weeks to gather the necessary funds for just Shayla to make the trip to nationals at the end of June. This will cost roughly $2500. (State was $800)
