Support Shea's Education in Honor of Sherry

The picture we have of the GoFundMe is my mother, Shea (Her daughter), and I (Joshua Sokolofsky) at my Special Operations Civil Affairs graduation.

Yesterday, our mother (Sherry Romanowski) passed away from a year-long battle with stomach cancer. One of her last wishes was for my sister (Shea) to finish college. We are having my mother's wake this month. My mother would rather have anyone who wants to send flowers to her wake, donate to Shea's future education. I am not one to ask for anything. However, if anyone is considering, my mother would like donations to go to her daughter Shea.

Shea recently got accepted into the University of Buffalo for a Biology degree and is looking to proceed past her 4-year education. Her plans are to continue her education in a Physical Therapy program which requires years of additional schooling.

Shea's education was the most important priority for my mother. My mother completed her 2-year associate's degree as a single mother while working two jobs. Her ability to complete a higher level of education was too arduous considering she had a baby boy during that time. So her dream just like many, was for her children to obtain higher education.

I am currently a full-time student myself and I hope that we can both make our mother proud.
