Hi everyone, Shelby here. I wanted to start by saying THANK YOU for supporting me through this gofundme. My family appreciates your help more than you know. Because of you I don't have to worry about my monthly health insurance costs for an entire year. I don't have anxiety about making all my co payments and paying out of pocket for scans. You all have helped relieve so much stress in a very stressful season of my life so thank you for your help.

A health update:

Hi everyone, here with a health update. My oncologist appointment was on the 17th and we were told I will need to proceed with chemotherapy.

While I half expected this news with my diagnosis, I did hope it wouldn't come to this. To say I am shaken is an understatement. All that to say, if I didn't have to do chemo I would probably always worry I didn't throw enough at this/worry about return more often. I'm grateful for a doctor that listens to me but also knows when it's go time. It appears it's go time.

Radiation may be off the table entirely but I'll know more about that in the coming weeks. If I do have to do it, it'll be after chemo.

I will also be taking anti estrogen pills and 1 shot a week to put my ovaries down for a nap for the next 5 years.

I will start chemo once I'm healed up from my double mastectomy, so we assume about 3 weeks.

Please pray for my family, we are in for quite a ride.
