Help Shell and Jonathan Embrace Life's Adventures Together
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,
Today, I reach out to you with a heavy but hopeful heart for two incredible souls; my dear friends Shell and Jonathan. These two are the epitome of free spirits, living life to the fullest and embracing every adventure that comes their way. However, life has dealt Shell a challenging hand; she is currently battling stage four lung cancer.
Shell’s journey has not been easy, but she continues to inspire those around her with her unwavering spirit and zest for life. Jonathan has stood by her side through thick and thin, offering love, support, and companionship. Together, they have shared countless memories, but now they face the reality of time slipping away.
I am asking for a little help to grant Shell and Jonathan the opportunity to create more unforgettable memories together. Let’s help them hit the road and experience all those bucket list places they’ve dreamed of visiting. They deserve to feel the sun on their faces, the wind in their hair, and to live without the burden of financial worries.
Imagine Shell and Jonathan embarking on spontaneous adventures, deciding whether to watch the sunset or wake up early for the sunrise. Whether they choose to head north, south, east, or west, every moment spent together will be a treasure. With your support, we can make this dream a reality.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ease their financial burden and allow them to focus on what truly matters—each other and the beautiful moments that lie ahead. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your network. The more people who see their story, the closer we get to making this dream come true.
Attached to this message is Jonathan’s heartfelt story in his own words, providing a glimpse into their lives and the love they share. Together, we can be the support they need to embrace the adventures that await them.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for helping Shell and Jonathan make the most of the time they have together.
With love and gratitude,
Richard
Shell, love of my life, my best friend and biggest fan.
On 11/10 Shell suffered a Moderately Severe Left Occipital Lobe Stroke. While getting scanned and treated it was discovered that she had masses in her lungs, lymph nodes and brain resulting a diagnosed of stage 4 lung cancer with brain metastases. She will begin Rad Treatments for brain tumors on 11/25
An Angel Among Us, the depth of love she has for her fellow man is astonishing. She has never met a stranger nor made an enemy.
Shell is the most compassionate person I’ve ever known, she was caregiver for her Father when he had cancer, she was a caregiver with both her mother and grandmother while they suffered with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Shell was there when I was caregiver for my Grandfather's Dementia and my Mother's cancer. Shell has held the hands of so many Family, Friends and acquaintances as they transition into the next life. She has been a Hospice Volunteer, and had recently been working towards being a Death Doula. Shell has touched so many lives with her open heart.
For the last 4 years Shell has been full-time Nanny, helping raise and instilling this love of family and community in her 2 Granddaughters. Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Brave, to stand and care for those who don’t have anyone else to do so.
We met as a one night stand, 15 years ago, and She saved my life. I was on a path of self destruction that seemed to have no end. Shell fought for me, and along side me. The light of her compassion was stronger than my self-destruction. She opened my eyes, heart, and soul. In our time together Shell has been so much more than a girlfriend or a wife. Shell has been my gateway to understanding Service and Purpose over Status and Possessions.
