Support Shelley: Overcoming MS and Fire Loss

Donation protected
The picture that you see is what remains of my sister’s home in Altadena. Her name is Shelley and she has terrible and aggressive MS. Unfortunately, she did not have time gather clothes or toiletries or normal, every day items when they had to evacuate. They are safe, but facing the challenge of their lifetime. Obviously, she’s not alone. There are thousands of people who were similarly affected by this tragic fire. But, unlike the celebrities that are plastered all over tv and social media, she’s not rich or famous or able to move to one of her “other” homes. Her medical condition would have been enough of a challenge, but now she’s faced with starting over with nothing while insurance companies and bureaucracy will slow down the financial recovery that she needs today. Getting a payout in a year doesn’t help. She needs help now. For anyone who can and for anyone who is willing, please consider giving anything you are comfortable with. I hope that whatever we’re able to raise will remind her that there may be a light at the end of the tunnel and that she can get her needs met in the mean time. Thank you for reading this and a big thank you for anyone who can chip in.
