Support Shelly Olmstead's Artistic Collective

This campaign is for my friend Shelly Olmstead who resides in Norwich, NY. I have known Shelly for the better part of the past 2 years and met her due to our common interest and support for Independent Media. In recent years Shelly has been a producer for value -for-value content creators and has done a great deal of work behind the scenes in terms of research and booking guests that are outside of the corporate funded mainstream media. As some of you may know, the Indie Media landscape is often not the most lucrative endeavor, especially for those who have provided backstage support to the degree that Shelly has. That said, many of us who know her can attest that she deserves the utmost credit for her work.

Shelly is a lifelong artist who has pursued higher education in her field and in 2024 she created an amazing collective where a host of starving artists can showcase their work, collaborate, and ultimately earn revenue from their creations. She designed this space as a service to others, providing a unique hub where people can join, share, and further explore their creative processes among the growing network of artisans. I simply could not be prouder of her efforts to get this endeavor off the ground, but I know that it will require some independent funding to continue through 2025 and beyond. This is imperative as Shelly continues to run the collective herself, despite being limited to a fixed income.

If you have read this far, I sincerely thank you and would humbly ask for your assistance in helping me fund a large format printer that would allow Shelly to branch out into making posters and prints for these talented and innovative artists. Procuring this single item could springboard the collective in 2025 and help ensure that the project remains viable for its current and future members. If enough of us chip in and lend a hand we can help give back to someone who is competent, deserving, and who has herself created and given selflessly on behalf of others. To be clear, Shelly having this printer will in turn be to the benefit of numerous individuals who will now have a means of printing up high-quality renditions of their artwork affordably.
